Refund Policy

Online payments made online and in excess of the total bill amount invoiced will show as a credit on the customer's next electronic bill statement. Questions concerning refunds of erroneous payments may be addressed in writing to City of Newport Beach Customer Service Department. If approved by the Customer Services Department after inquiry, the refund will be made in the form of a check made payable to the name on City of Newport Beach utility billing account for the address in question. The inquiry and refund process may take up to 60 days.
